Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy

At the heart of FKF’s gender advocacy is the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy. This policy is integral to FKF’s operations and seeks to ensure that everyone—whether in FKF’s care or employed by FKF—has the right to live free from any form of sexual exploitation or abuse. The PSEA policy applies universally to all FKF personnel, national and international, and is anchored in FKF’s “Inclusive and For All (IFA)” approach.

The IFA framework highlights that safeguarding is a collective responsibility, establishing high standards for ethical behavior through FKF’s Code of Conduct. These guidelines set clear expectations for the prevention of exploitation and abuse, ensuring that every individual affiliated with FKF adheres to principles of accountability, transparency, and integrity.

Beyond the PSEA policy, FKF actively promotes gender mainstreaming in all aspects of its programs and operations. To date, FKF’s advocacy efforts on GBV prevention and gender mainstreaming have reached 67,580 individuals. These efforts have led to meaningful strides toward building safer, more inclusive communities where individuals, regardless of gender, can live free from abuse and discrimination.
